The first microprocessor controlled bee venom collector BV0508 is developed and field tested in 2006-2008.
The software has a number of unique features, including:
- - Protecting the bees from electricity, in wet weather.
- - Protection against too much aggravation for the hive, when there are too many bees on the device.
- - Indication for short-circuited front wires.
- - Indication for low-batteries.
- - Automatically turning the device off, after a set period of time.

The newest Bee Venom Collector model with microprocessor control is developed in 2011 – BVC0411, using all our current knowledge we have from our past developments. The microprocessor software of the new bee venom collector BVC0411 is completely re-written, the body of the device is re-worked and improved, the electronics is upgraded and the automatic functions are improved. It has the following features:
- - Improved protection for the bees, when used in wet weather.
- - Improved indication for triggered protection features.
- - Improved protection against aggravation of the bee hive, when too many bees are on the device.
- - Improved indication for short-circuit of the front wires.
- - Improved indication for low batteries.
- - Automatically turning the device off, after a set period of time.
- - Indication before turning the device off.
- - Lower battery consumption and 20% increased work time.
- - Active autorecovery protection for improper battery placement.
- - New, better body, made of oak or beech.
